Asante Kotoko forward, Obed Owusu says he is worried about the injury of striking partner Dauda Mohammed due to injury.
The fast-growing Asante Kotoko striker was the second top scorer of the side in the league last season but was reported to have picked a hamstring injury which will rule him out for close to a month before returning to the field.
“Dauda’s injury is a very big blow to me personally and to the entire team. He is one player I love so much and he understands me when we are playing.
He is a young player and must not be facing situations like that. I hope and pray that he returns in time to play his part in our title ambition,”
“His absence will obviously affect us even though we have other players like Kwame Boateng to take over in his absence. Elvis and Bennet are also available so Dauda’s absence will not be felt that much.”
