Acting Chairman of former Premier League side Okwawu United, Francis Anom together with his six-man management team and the playing-body has appealed to supporters of the club to contribute financially as the prepare to participate in the Middle League next March.
Okwawu United who suffered relegation from the Premiership last after losing on penalties to Swedru based Gamba All-Blacks, for now appears to have qualified for the Middle League as they are placed second on the Zone 3A table with 24 points after leaders Tudu Mighty Jets who have 29 points.
According to the chairman, participating in the Middle League requires an intensive camping of the playing-body as well as good financial promise to the boys to give of their best hence the call on all Asaase-Aban fans to contribute their little quota to see the club return to the elite division of Ghanaian soccer.
?In fact our boys need at least two weeks intensive camping ahead of the Middle League competition and promises of huge bonus something which every true Asaase-Aban needs to contribute in order for us to realize our Premiership return dream? he said
