Olympiacos Scouts Watch On As Inkoom Dazzles Xanthi
Recent media reports of Samuel Inkoom joining Olympiacos seems to be gaining ground after scouts from the '?hrylos' were spotted at the SKODA Xanthi Arena as Platanias played as guest to Xanthi on Monday night. The Greek giants are considering a move to sign Inkoom on a permanent basis from Ukrainian side FC Dnipro, according to reports in the Greek media.
Inkoom, 24, who gave a man-of-the-match performance, plus a 35th minute goal assist to Panagiotis Vlachodimos as his side won 3-2 remains focused on the current job at Platanias despite apparent interest in his services by West Ham, Olympique Lyonnais and Greece champions, Olympiakos Piraeus.
"The team has been putting up some amazing performances lately and we are happy with the way things are going now," he told Platanias TV after their Xanthi win.
"It was a tough game away from home but we managed to get the three points here. It's important for us to be getting these good results because it boast our confidence as players."
"As a team, we fight to win, lose and draw together. I am also delighted with my performance once again but like I keep on saying, it's not all about Inkoom but the team. My future?... For me, Platanias comes first and I am very happy we won. "
