Coach J. E. Sarpong of Accra Great Olympics has resigned from his post. The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) coach of the year cited recent developments in the club as being unacceptable to him and therefore decided to call it quits. Sarpong is credited with the renaissance of Great Olympics after he saved the team from relegation by coaching them to play 14 matches without a loss.
