Fifa agent Oliver Arthur has given credit to Asante Kotoko CEO Opoku Nti for playing a major role in the transfer of Michael Anaba to Elche.
Arthur represented the newly-promoted Spanish La Liga side in the transfer of the midfielder when Nti has just taken over the Porcupine Warriors in an interim role.
“Mr. Opoko Nti who became interim manager of the club played an important role in relations to the transfer of Anaba,” Arthur said. “He worked hard all the time and now can breathe a sigh of relief.”
Anaba, who was a member of the Ghana Under-20 team that won bronze in the World Cup in Turkey this summer, gave a positive impression to coach Fran Escriba at a two-week trial period in Alicante before he was signed.
Goal Ghana is picking signals that the player is yet to acquire a work permit.
