Osei Kuffour is new Asante Kotoko CEO

Football legend Samuel Osei Kuffour has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Ghana giants Asante Kotoko, Starrfmonline.com can confirm.

Deep throat sources within the Porcupine Warriors top hierarchy have confirmed that the former Ghana international has the blessing of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The Uefa Champions League winner takes over from Samuel Opoku Nti, who was recently voted as a Ghana Football Association (GFA) national executive committee member.

Kuffour, who was phenomenal at German giants Bayern Munich a decade ago, is revered as the personality who can transform the fortunes of the struggling Fabulous Club.

An official statement is expected from the club in the coming days, Starrfmonline.com can reveal.

Meanwhile, top officials have also confirmed a Danish scout, Thomas Moller Nielson, has been appointed the club’s new Technical Director.
