Otto Addo is sure of victory on Sunday

Ghanaian International, Otto Addo, has assured Ghanaian soccer fans of his readiness to respond to any national call provided he is free of club commitments and injury.

Responding to a question whether foreign based players are not being selective in responding to calls, Otto said he has never been choosy in honouring national calls but "some times circumstances just makes it impossible to come down. " Speaking to the GNA Sports after a training session Otto Addo said he missed Ghana's encounter with Lesotho match because of an injury he sustained in a league match and had to rest. He said most of the players have been able to assemble easily this time because the Europeans are playing their world cup qualifying matches this weekend.

The Borussia Dortmund player pleaded with fans to bear with them when forces beyond their control prevent them from honouring national calls adding, " sometime we need to fulfil club commitments because they pay our wages. Most of us are not big super stars in our teams and need to fight to command first team shirt, and this compounds our problems because we need to be present most of the time to justify our inclusion."

He said Zimbabwe would not be an easy team to beat since quiet recently they beat South Africa, the side that eliminated the Black stars in the quarter finals stage of the CAN 2000. He however assured fans that with their support they would be able to over-come them with not less than two goals.
