Result of the ninth week Star Premier League outstanding matches played on Sunday.

Hearts 1 - 0 Hasaacas
Three outstanding league games were on Sunday cleared, with all the home teams winning their matches.
Defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak maintained their lead in the Star Premier League as they defeated visiting Sekondi-Hasaacas by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium. Hearts got the match winner through a penalty kick in the second half.
Striker, Bernard Dong Bortey converted the spot kick, pass Hasaacas goalie, George Owu, who was later sent off for fouling Hearts attacker, Charles Taylor.
In Kumasi, the Porcupine warriors, Asante Kotoko also kept the heat on rivals, Hearts of Oak as they also secured a lone goal victory over Adanisman-United.
Kotoko also scored their only goal through a spot kick. Captain Godwin Ablordey converted the kick after a player of Adansiman’s hand hit the ball in the penalty box.
At Obuasi, Goldfields defeated King Faisal by three goals to nil.

The results of the games still put Hearts ahead of arch-rivals Kotoko with 39 points to Kotoko’s 38. They are closely followed by Goldfields with 28 points and Hasaacas with 25 points. Liberty is fifth with 23 points.
