Ghana-born striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has joined Spanish side Celta Vigo on loan from Russian club Spartak Moscow.
The 21-year-old moves to the Spanish second division until the end of the season.
The former Dutch youth international sought a move away from Spartak after failing to adjust to life in Moscow.
Owusu-Abeyie, who joined Spartak from English side Arsenal in 2006, made just six appearances for the club this year.
He managed to score only one league goal in his 21 appearances in the Russian Premier-Liga.
Spartak, who play Danish side BK Hacken in the Uefa Cup first round, reserve the right to recall the striker in January.
Owusu-Abeyie has applied to Fifa to switch allegiance to enable him play for Ghana.
