Hearts of Oak deputy skipper Owusu Bempah says head coach Kenichi Yatsuhasi is behind the team’s rediscovered form after they beat Medeama 2-0 away.
The Phobians put up a solid display in their first away game of the season to beat Medeama at their own back yard.
The victory means Hearts of have broken the jinx of failing to win at the Tarkwa Park and most importantly maintain their winning start to the season.
After the game defender Owusu Bempah could not hide his delight and gratitude to head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
“I think that we all have to credit the coach because he is giving his all,” Bempah said.
“Most people didn’t take us serious but if you see what we have done in this few days you can tell that we are improving and you have to credit the coach for that.”
Hearts are now second behind Wa All Stars on goal difference but both sides have six points.
