West Ham are set to complete the signing of Ghana right-back John Pantsil on Monday.
The 25-year-old will move to Upton Park in a ?700,000 deal if he passes a medical on Monday.
"We're in communications with Pantsil's club and he would be a real acquisition for the team," said Hammers boss Alan Pardew.
The Hapoel Tel-Aviv defender was recommended to Pardew by the club's Israeli midfielder schemer Yossi Benayoun.
