Palermo, Hamburg fight over Ebenezer Ofori

Promising Ghanaian youngster Ebenezer Ofori is a subject of intense transfer speculations from a host of clubs across Europe.

The former New Edubiase midfielder is having a stellar season in the Swedish league and has played in 9 out of 12 games for AIK Stockholm this season.

The 20-year-old is highly rated in the Swedish league and reports are that German Bundesliga sides Werder Bremen and Hamburg are fighting out to secure his signature.

Ofori who failed to join Ghana’s U20 team for the world cup in New Zealand due to tight club schedule has also been on the radar of Italian side Palermo and Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in recent time.

The Ghanaian has emerged as an integral player for Stockholm this season and it would be interesting to see if they will let go one of their rising stars.
