Parma join race for Ghana’s Cofie

Parma have joined the race for Ghanaian Isaac Cofie as they look forward to build a strong midfield ahead of the new campaign.

The 23-year-old enforcer was brilliant for Genoa, despite having less playing time and has already caught the eyes of so many clubs in Italy and Germany.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Parma are the latest to join the Italian clubs who are ready to sign him this summer with Torino, Sassuolo and Chievo Verona having already made their bid.

Cofie won the praise of head coach Gasperini for being a workaholic and living up to expectation. That notwithstanding, he has been advised to move in order to get enough playing time and reach his full potential.

German Bundesliga sides Frankfurt and Frieburg have all scouted and monitored him and are ready to pay four million Euros for his release. He played 23 games last season for Genoa scoring a goal.
