Partey to join Black Stars training today

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey who played in the final of the champions League arrived in Ghana on Tuesday morning and should take part in his first training session today.

Partey is making his debut at the Black Stars after having a special season with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

The 22-year-old midfielder is expected to fight out a slot in Avram Grant’s team when they take on Mauritius on Sunday.

Ghana need just a point to make it to the Africa Cup of nations to be staged in Gabon.
