Paul Acquah set for MRI scan

Hearts of Oak midfielder Paul Acquah is scheduled to undergo a MRI scan at the Ridge Hospital in Accra to ascertain the extent of a groin injury.

The winger has been absent from training and there are doubts if he will be ready for the start of the season.

“Paul Acquah has been mandated to go for the MRI scan to determine the level of groin injury and the kind of treatment he will need and possibly when he will return to full fitness,” Hearts Physiotherapist Okeyere Baffour told Hearts News.

Acquah picked the injury at the back end of last season and has not been able to regain full fitness since.
