Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is in Ghana spending quality time with his family having been left out of the Black Stars squad for the 2014 World Cup.
The 22-year-old is also plotting his next move after being released by relegated Barnsley at the end of the English Championship.
Frimpong has failed to reach his potential after bursting onto the scene as an exciting prospect while at Arsenal.
A series of knee injuries and loan spells away from the Emirates did little to boost the career of the Ghana international.
He was deservedly left out of Ghana’s provisional squad for June’s World Cup in Brazil.
Frimpong is however in town spending ‘quality’ time with his family.
He made his low-keyed arrival in Ghana days after being told he no longer has a future at Barnsley who have been relegated to the English third tier.
