Portuguese giants Porto have recalled their Ghanaian defender David Addy as his loan deal with Panetolikos has expired.
The left-back has been asked to report for pre-season training with Porto later next month.
Addy spent last season with the Greek side to gain some playing time after being denied the team's first choice left-back position.
But his impressive performances for relegated Panetolikos last season have prompted Porto to recall him for observation whether he can command a starting place in the team.
"I am going to Porto for pre-season. I don't what will happen there but what I want is to play regular football," Addy told MTNFootball.com.
The 22-year-old has consistently stated that more playing time with his club will help him to return to the national team.
The 2009 Under-20 World Cup winner was on loan at Portuguese top flight side Academica Coimbra two seasons ago after rejecting a move to Rio Ave.
He signed a three-year deal with the Portuguese champions in January 2010 from Danish side Randers FC.
