Portsmouth boss checked on Muntari

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp ran a personal check on Udinese midfielder Sulley Muntari on Tuesday night.

The Pompey manager saw the £10million-rated Muntari score in Ghana's 4-1 win over Nigeria.

Redknapp tried to sign Muntari, 22, during the transfer window but could not agree a fee. Now Pompey expect to go back for Muntari during the summer.
