Premier Division Clubs Vote To Keep Kotoko In Isolation

The fourteen premier league clubs at loggerheads with Kumasi Asante Kotoko have reiterated their position not to play the Porcupine Warriors in any friendly or competitive match.

The clubs decided at a meeting to keep Kotoko out of their affairs until they render an appropriate apology for walking out of their Coca Cola Top 4 match against Heart of Lions.

The outcome of the meeting means the league decider between Hearts and Kotoko, which was supposed to have come on this Sunday, will not happen.

The administrative manager of the Ghana League Clubs Association Kodjo Fiano told JoySports that the clubs want Kotoko to properly apologise for the Top 4 fiasco before re-admitting them.

Even though Kotoko say they have apologised to GHALCA for their actions, the chairman of the Professional League Board Abrah Appiah insist that it is only the attitude of the Porcupine Warriors that has stalled the decider.

But Appiah says the third place play-off between King Faisal and Heart of Lions at the Kumasi Sports Stadium will go ahead.
