Porcupine Warriors poised to grab all three points at stake as they look forward to retaining the Ghana Premier League title Asante Kotoko’s title defence will face another stern challenge as they come up against Tema Youth in matchday-23 in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko have been solid away performers this term, but find it difficult to win games at home, and will be seeking to rectify this alarming trend with a victory over the Harbour City lads.
Conversely, Tema Youth have not performed well in their away games winning just one out of 10 outings, which incidentally came at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against King Faisal.
With relegation looming for the Tema-based club, a win will not only propel them from the drop zone, but also change the atmosphere of desolation surrounding the club.
Nonetheless, it is an important game for either side as the Porcupine Warriors seek to pile pressure on league leaders Medeama Sc in their quest to become the first team since 2002 to successfully retain their league trophy, a feat last chocked by their eternal rivals Hearts of Oak whilst the Harbour Warriors will be looking to beat the drop with a win.
Kotoko currently lie third with 33 points whilst Team Youth are placed 14th on the league log.
