Berekum Chelsea stand the chance to assume the summit of the Glo Premier League log for the first time as they head into their match-day-10 fixture.

The champions will get under way this weekend's match action on Saturday with a home game against Bechem United live on Metro TV at 3:00pm.

A win for Chelsea would see them move top for the first time this season as Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, both tied on 18 points just like the champions, do not play until Sunday.

Hans Van der Plyum's men have got their season back on track despite having their four-game winning spree halted in midweek following a draw. However, they are tipped to pick all three points against a Bechem side, who have claimed just two wins in nine outings.

Asante Kotoko, who lost for the first time this season last Wednesday, come face-to-face with the league's only unbeaten side, Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors, who still stay top despite the loss will be without midfielder Michael Akuffo, after he was shown the red card in their last match.

Maxwell Konadu's side will hope to bounce back against Dwarfs but the visitors will aim to maintain their unbeaten run.

AshantiGold are in action in Sunday's first televised clash at 3:00pm on Metro TV in a game at the Len Clay Stadium against Heart of Lions, who suffered a shocking home defeat in midweek to Tema Youth.

The Lions will be looking to roar themselves back against an AshantiGold side struggling for form.

Tema Youth return to base at the Tema Park, where they clash with Berekum Arsenals. Both sides won their last matches and either side would be confident going into the game.

New Edubiase's memorable win over Kotoko will be put to test at the Wa Park when they take on All Stars.

Medeama will be home at the Sekondi Stadium in their clash with Mighty Jets, who beat Liberty in on Thursday.

Aduana Stars, after their impressive display against Hearts of Oak in Accra, which ended goalless, will welcome bottom side, Wassaman to the Agyeman Badu Park.

The final encounter of the weekend is the Accra derby. Liberty Professionals host city neighbours, Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in a 6:15pm kick off on SuperSport.
