2004 Head Coach of Rwanda National Team. Participated in African Nations' Cup 2004, in Tunis. Placed third within the A group with Tunisia, Guinea and DR Congo.

2002-03 Head Coach of Rwanda National Team. Qualified for African Nations Cup by winning first place in the qualifying group (with Ghana and Uganda). Rwanda's first qualification in history. Increased Rwanda's FIFA world rating by 19 places.

PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL CAREER

1956 Started playing as a 10 year old for Borovo (second division) for the junior team.

1962 As a 16 year old, transferred to F.C. Red Star, Belgrade as goalkeeper.

1962-64 Won three championships with F.C. Red Star, Belgrade in the junior category.

1964 Started playing professionally in F.C. Red Star, Belgrade

1965 First international appearance in the European Champions League, playing against F.C. Glasgow Rangers from Scotland, U.K.

1968-69 Won both Yugoslav Championship and Cup with F.C. Red Star, Belgrade. Also won European RECUP.

1969-70 Won Yugoslavian Championship and Yugoslavian Cup with F.C. Red Star, Belgrade.

1970-71 Reached the semifinal of the European Champions League with F.C. Red Star, Belgrade.

1971-73 Won Yugoslavian Championship with F.C. Red Star, Belgrade; Played 11 years (442 national games) for F.C. Red Star, Belgrade and 15 times for the Yugoslav National Team.

1973 Attended 12 months of mandatory military service.

1974-77 Transferred and played 3 years for Real Oviedo, Spain, in the first division.

1977-80 Transferred to F.C. Osijek in Yugoslav first division (currently Croatia).

1980-84 Played in F.C. Zemun, Yugoslavia (first/second division).

1984 Concluded active playing career at age of 38 and began coaching career.
