Bureaucracy at Ministry of Youth and Sports is the Cause!
Bureaucracy at Ministry of sports put Black Queen’s Professionals Justify-your inclusion in Limbo.
The five Black Queen’s players currently playing soccer in the United States are not sure of their participation in the upcoming world cup tournament in China, sources close to the Ghana Football Association,GFA, told this reporter. A source close to the GFA informed me that the GFA is waiting for approval of the fares for the players by the Ministry Of Sports.
The GFA source indicated that due to the bureaucracy involved at the Ministry of sports, the GFA is waiting for final approval before purchasing the return tickets for the players.
It was also learnt that only three of the five players are scheduled to join the team in Ghana. They include, Kulu Yahaya, defense; Basilea Amoah-Tettah and Adjoa Bayor, both forwards. Albertha Sackey (captain) and Elizabeth Baidoo will join the team later.
Meanwhile this reporter learnt from some of the players currently in camp that, they will be very unhappy if the professionals are rail rolled to play in the tournament without first justifying their inclusion.
The players were furious and complained that the professionals are being treated with favor; “monkey de work way baboon de chop” said one unhappy player.
We hope everything is done to motivate the queens to give off their best in China this year.
