Queens draw in friendly

Mankessim, Sept. 27, GNA -- Ghana's female national team, the Black Queens drew 2-2 with Mankessim's Under 17 side, Striking Force in a friendly soccer match played at Mankessim.

After both sides scored a goal each in the first half, it was the Queens who resumed the second half in a business-like manner to increase their goal tally to two in the 60th minute.

Striking Force hit back gallantly and got the equalizer in the 65th minute when their midfielder, Joe Mensah, rounded up two defenders on the trot before displacing the Queens goalie for the slot home the ball.
