RFA suspends the 17th week league fixtures

Cape Coast, Jan 8, GNA - The Central Region Football Association (RFA) has suspended the 17th week league fixtures of the Central Region Second Division league to enable all outstanding matches to be cleared. According to a release issued by RFA to the GNA Sports on Monday, Praso Akumpreku will meet Elmina Coconut Grove Sharks at Cape Coast Sports Stadium on January 10.

Cape Coast Asamerik will vie with Oguaa United at the stadium on January 11 while Schalke 04 will travel to Moree to meet Great Astons. The RFA said the league will resume on Wednesday, January 14 2004 and end on Sunday, January 18 only for Zone one.

In Zones two, three and four, the penultimate matches will be played on Sunday 11 and the last matches played on January 18. The release appealed to participating clubs to take notice of the rescheduled fixtures and the outstanding matches for strict compliance. 08 Jan. 04
