Midfielder Rabiu Mohamed will sit out of the Black Stars next game at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations due to accumulation of yellow cards.
The 23-year-old midfielder was cautioned in the semi-final clash against Burkina Faso on Wednesday, in Nelspruit following a challenge on a Stallions player early in the game.
He was subsequently replaced by Derek Boateng in the second half of the last four meeting.
It was the second successive yellow card for the Evian midfielder in his last two games, making him unavailable for selection for the next game. His first was against Cape Verde at the quarters.
Rabiu will be the second Ghanaian player to be suspended for a game at the tournament after Mubarak Wakaso. The latter missed the final group phase clash against Niger, which the Stars won 3-0.
The France-based Rabiu is making his debut at the showpiece continental football tournament.
