Ghana defender Rahim Ayew celebrated his first piece of silverware in the new season when he helped Europa FC win the Super Cup in Gibraltar on Sunday.
The 30-year-old lasted the entire duration to help his side to a 4-2 penalty shoot-out win over Lincoln Red Imps.
This was after the game had ended 1-1 on regulation time.
Europa FC finished last season by winning the Cup while Red Imps won the Premiership.
The Super Cup is the curtain-raising game ahead of the start of the new season.
Europa FC open their league campaign on Thursday against Mons Calpe.
