Rajevac to try out other options

Ghana has begun training for the World Cup with most of its 23-man squad gathering in Paris.

The Black Stars, making a second appearance at the World Cup, which opens June 11 in South Africa are in group D together with Serbia, Australia and Germany.

Twenty players left Accra Sunday evening for their camp base, to be joined by ten other players who were already in Europe including Michael Essien, John Mensah, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Inter Milan's Champions League winner, Sulley Muntari.

But as the Black Stars gathers his players for the Monday's first workout, Milovan Rajevac, the Ghana coach says it's good to have enough time to work with all the players.

"We would have to be patient and see as we start our work," Rajevac told www.ghanafa.org.

"We have had more days to assemble and there will be enough time to work with the players."

Before Ghana's camping closes and the final 23-man squad submitted for the tournament, Rajevac hopes to have seen every player.

The Stars have two friendly games lined up against Holland in Rotterdam on June 1 and against Latvia in Milton Keynes on June 5 before flying out to South Africa on June 6.

"All [players] will get the chance during the warm up games. We would try some things and give opportunities to all.

"It's important to try some options and check on the every detail," he said.
