Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has revealed Daniel Amartey will have to wait a little longer to make his debut for the foxes.
Amartey who joined Leicester this January transfer window from Danish side FC Copenhagen impressed when he played for Leicester’s development side and was hoping to make his bow for the club against Arsenal tomorrow.
In fact Claudio Ranieri had hinted last week the 21-year-old would be in the team for their trip to the Emirates but has decided against throwing in the Ghana international.
In a press briefing ahead of what could define their season Ranieri said Amartey would have to wait for the game against Norwich the followng weekend.
“Not now. I think in the next match against Norwich he’s ready,” Ranieri said ahead of the game against Arsenal
In other news Amartey's international team mate Jeffrey Schlupp trained for the first time in three months this afternoon sparking hopes he could make the trip to Norwich next week.
