Rates of Kotoko-Athletico Match

The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has released the rates for this weekend?s CAF Confederation Cup match against Petro Athletico of Angola at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Saturday.

In a telephone conversation with the Chief Executive, Major(rtd) Yaw Larsen, he disclosed that complimentary ticket benefiaciaries should be prepared to pay something as the club needs money for their Africa club competition campaign. He stressed that Asante Kotoko need as much as 40,000 US dollars to make the trip to Angola for the return encounter, and urged all supporters to throng the Kumasi Sports Stadium in their numbers on Saturday and cheer the boys on till victory is attained. He also revealed the arrangements made so far concerning according the away team a warm reception before, during and after the match. He said return tickets for match officials, a bus for the Angolan team and per diem for the match officials have all been catered for. He also called on the security personnel to be detailed for the match to ensure that the match be played under a violent-free atmosphere.

The rates for the match are as follows; Popular Stand - ? 20,000, Centre Line - ? 30,000, Wings - ? 100,000, V.I.P. Annex - ? 150,000 and V.I.P. - ? 200,000.
