Razak Brimah among 13 players to be retained by Cordoba

Spanish second-tier side Cordoba have planned to retain Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah as they look ahead to next season after suffering elimination in the promotion playoffs.

Brimah, who has one year left on his contract, is among 13 players to be maintained.

He made 38 league appearances for the side as they finished fifth on the table.

He will be joined by David Rodriguez 'Deivid', Hector Rodas, Rafael Galvez, Serbian Sasa Markovic, Pedro Rios, Fidel Chaves and Chile Jean Paul Pineda.

Striker Florin Andone, who is under contract until 2018, Carlos Caballero and Domingo Cisma will also remain at the club.

These eleven players will be joined by two more; striker Arturo Rodriguez and defender Samuel Reyes, who were signed from Scottish side Dundee United and the Llagostera, respectively.
