Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah is confident Mirandes will rebound against Sporting Gijon on Sunday following their stalemate against Tenerife last weekend.
Brimah is fresh from helping Ghana to finish second at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations held in Equatorial Guinea.
The 27-year-old was thrown into the hat as Mirandes huffed and puffed to draw 1-1 with Tenerife at home last weekend but the Ghanaian international is hoping his side can bounce back against Sporting Gijon on Sunday.
“We managed to add a point but we always want to win, it is the most important thing for us,” he said.
“We all hope and wish that we can win our next game against Sporting de Gijón. “I wanted to come back here and be with my teammates. I always want to play as any player is willing to play to help his club.”
Mirandes are 10th on the Segunda League table and travel to Estadio Municipal El Molinón in Gijón desperate for the maximum points.
