Red Bull Academy Appoint Regional Coaches

One of the best endowed football academies in Africa ,Red Bull Soccer Academy based in Sogakope in the Volta Region has picked ten coaches as its regional coaches.The coaches have been tasked to form regional teams and also scout for players from towns and villages in their respective regions to feed the Academy in Sogakope

Addressing the coaches,Technical Director of the Academy Mr.Hans Peter Schaller said the coaches have a task which is challenging and advised them to be hard working and abide by the philosophy of Red Bull to overcome the challenges. According to him, the Academy will continue with its separate scouting programmes and said the new approch is meant to open the doors of the Academy to football talents who may not have the previlege of living in big towns and cities .

The coaches were taken through practical football work which included co-ordination and techniques which was conducted by German born Daniel Heidemann .Before ,the ten regional coaches were given orientation about the philosophy of Red Bull Academy and also guidelines which they must use in their selection of players . Each regional coach was given five football DVDS, handouts and will later receive ten footballs each and other equipments to be used in their job delivery. The coaches will receive monthly allowance .On the event that the academy signs on a player, the coach who produced that player will receive a mouth watering bonus package from the Red Bull SoccerAcademy.

The ten regional coaches were carefully selected by former Head of P.E Programmes at G.E.S headquaters Accra Mr..Benedictus Kwadzo Dzokoto now the Director of School of Red Bull Academy .

The ten are Former Black Stars captain Kwasi Owusu is in charge of Brong Ahafo Region,James Arthur Norman of Aggrey Memorial Zion SHS in Cape Coast will head Central Region,Kenneth Koomson of Presby SHS Legon is in charge of Greater Accra,Ashanti Region will be handled by Edward Kwame Amoako of OKESS,Samuel Asah Aboagye will handle Eastern while that of Northern Region will be manned by Abdullai Abdul Mumuni of Tamale Business School. Bartholomew Diboro of Sisala West G.E.S Gwolu will head Upper West. C.K Dzakpasu G.E.S Kpando will is to take charge of Volta Region while Peter Abilba of Bolga Technical Institute and Yussif Basigi of Shama District G.E.S are to handle Upper East and Western regions respectively.The ten will be supervised by the Head Of Scout Mr.Kalis Senaye .
