Referee Amamoo to handle Obuasi duel

Accra, Sept 7, GNA - The Referees Appointment Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Cape Coast-based referee, Jeffery Amamoo to handle the 22nd week duel involving league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak and Ashantigold of Obuasi.

The game billed for the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium has fellow Cape Coast referee, F.B Arthur Wa-based Ibrahim Adams supporting from lines one and two.

At the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi, where Kumasi Asante Kotoko host Bofoakwa Tano of Sunyani, Referee Gyasi Yamoah from Nsawam would take the centre stage with support from Michael Dogbe and Rashid Abdulai from Koforidua and Tamale respectively.

When relegation threatened Kade Hotspurs trek to the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra to face Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals, they would rely on Referee Frank Fudzi from Denu to provide them with a level playing field in their quest of a premiership survival with E.K Aboagye, Kumasi and Michael Fletcher of Takoradi assisting on the lines. At the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast where Ebusua Dwarfs and Kpando Heart of Lions have a date, T.K Aggrey from Tarkwa would direct affairs from the middle with S.K Baah of Tarkwa and B.R. Ofori from Takoradi supporting from the lines.

Takoradi-based S. Gyan Otoo would be in charge of the Okwawu United and Power FC encounter scheduled for the Nkawkaw Park with assistant referees David Agyin and Isaka Mumuni from Accra and Tamale assisting on the lines.

At the Tema Park, Referee J. Listowel Zilevu seek the assistance of Osei Agyeman from Kumasi and M.A Doku of Ho to handle the uncompromising encounter between Real Sportive and Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord.

As Sekondi Hasaacas play as guest of Berekum Arsenals, Referee E.N Adjei would officiate the match and expected to draw the strength from assistant referees Samuel Fiifi Gyan and Turia Nurudeen from Accra and Wa respectively on the lines.
