Referee Koman coming to Ghana again

Accra, Nov. 2, GNA - Malian referee Coulibally Koman who is well remembered by Ghanaians for disallowing what was perceived as a perfect penalty in the World Cup qualifying match between the Black Stars and their counterparts from DR. Congo last month is scheduled to return to the country soon to handle another international match.

This time around, Referee Koman has been appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to handle the crucial Confederation Cup match between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Al Hilal of Sudan on Saturday, November 13 at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

Kotoko will be in a crucial decider with the Sudanese to seek the three maximum points at stake as they vie for the only ticket from Group A to advance into in the finals of the novelty competition.

The Malian referee will be assisted by his compatriots, Dante Dramani and Diabate Moussa with Ghana's Samuel Quaye as the fourth referee for the day.

Mr Linus Mba of Nigeria will be the match commissioner with Nguangue Appolinaire of Cameroon as the Referees Inspector.

In a related development, Shelmani Abdulhakim will be in the middle of affiars when Accra Hearts of Oak engage CotonSport of Cameroon in another cracker at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 14. El Hawari Gamal and El Shahumi Fauzi will be the assistant referees on lines one and two respectively whilst Annan Lomotey of Ghana will act as the fourth referee.

General Seyi Memene of Togo will be the match commissioner with Magassouba Souleman from Mali as the Referees Inspector. Evehe Divine of Cameroon will handle the Petro Atletico of Angola match against Enugu Rangers at Luanda with his compatriots Endeng Zogo and Ndjoya Augustin as his assistants.

Manuel Antonio from Angola would act as the fourth referee with Mangolo M'Voulou as the Match Commissioner while the Referees Inspector is Djibril Traore of Mali.

The match between Sable de Batie of Cameroon and Santos FC of South Africa is to be handled by Ndoy Falla of Senegal in Duola on Sunday, November 14 to be assisted on lines one and two by his compatriots Seck Idrissa and Mbengue Moustapha.

Bekolo Angoula of Cameroon is to be the fourth referee while Moses Baranansananiye of Burundi is to be the Match Commissioner while the Referees Inspector is to be Bolaji Ojo Oba of Nigeria.
