Roma eye Baba Rahman

AS Roma boss Walter Sabatini is ready to present an offer for Augsburg and Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman this winter.

The Giallorossi are reported to be looking for new full-backs on both sides of defence, and the search could have intensified following rumours that Ashley Cole may leave for the MLS to join Orlando City.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Roma director has been following Augsburg's starting left-back Rahman, and is ready to make a bid when the transfer window opens.

Although nothing has been formalised yet, the Italian paper suggests that an offer may be presented soon.

Rahman has been Augsburg's best player this season providing five assists from open play.
