Ghanaian Sadia Alima was voted the best goalkeeper at the 2014 Terneo International Di Calcio Femminile tournament in Italy over the weekend.
Alima, nicknamed, stopper of dangers, saved three penalties during the yearly tournament at Milan stadium.
The former Asante Kotoko ladies gloveswoman has been in scintillating form, winning the best goalkeeper in the European country at the end of last season.
She played in all 36 matches for Laghi Calico Femminile and emerged as the best player of the match in 20 out of the 36 league games.
She started her career in Kumasi before moving to Accra to play for Mawuena Ladies before finally moving to Italy.
