According to the latest reports from Corriere dello Sport, Sampdoria have secured yet another midfielder, a Ghanaian starlet by the name of Mohammed Rabiu Alhassan.
The 19-year-old has been acquired on a season long loan deal, and will fly to Italy early next week to meet his new team-mates.
The player is currently owned by Liberty Professionals FC in the Ghana Telecom Premier League; however he has spent the last two seasons on loan in Spain, at Gimnastic and Xerez respectively.
Standing at 187cm tall, the athletic midfielder could be a revelation if he is given the chance to excel in the Italian peninsula in the early stages of the campaign.
