Samudeen returns after three months injury

Hearts of Oak midfield talisman, Samudeen Ibrahim resumed training on Friday for the first time in three months ahead of their league clash with Sekondi Hasaacas on Sunday.

The intelligent midfielder was injured in their first league game with New Edubiase at the Accra Sports Stadium and has since been sidelined.

Samudeen, 18, resumed training on Friday after the long layoff and is likely to feature against the Doo Boys.

The 2015 Division One League best player was independently given special attention by head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi after he warmed up together with Eric Kumi, Owusu Bempah, Thomas Abbey and Richard Yamoah.

He was later drafted into the main team where he played for 30 minutes before closing the training session.

His comeback is a major boost for the Phobians following the injury of midfield trio of Eric Kumi, Thomas Abbey and Richard Yamoah.
