Ghana giants Hearts of Oak have been handed a massive timely boost as hugely talented play maker Samudeen Ibrahim will return to training (today) Wednesday after recovering from injury.
The 19-year-old will join the Phobians in training on Wednesday morning after sitting out of action for about two weeks because of injury.
This means he could be ready to face Bechem United in their home match on Sunday as the Phobians seek to consolidate their impressive start to the season.
The new signing, who was named Man of the Match in their opening 1-0 win over New Edubiase United after exciting fans with his skills and trickery , missed the win over Medeama and draw at Dwarfs.
Samudeen says he has returned to full fitness as he eyes a return to training on Wednesday.
“I will join the team to train tomorrow 9am at the Legon Ajax Park. Thank you all for the well wishes. I am back to full fitness,” the youngster wrote on Facebook.
Samudeen was stretched off in Hearts' 1-0 victory over New Edubiase, but returned to the field limping throughout the remaining minutes, because the Phobians had exhausted all their substitutions.
Ibrahim was named best player in the Division One League last season.
