Asante Kotoko captain, Felix Annan says San Pedro FC shouldn't have been the team to eliminate the Porcupines from the qualifiers of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors got eliminated 2-1 on aggregate after losing the second leg in Abidjan yesterday and according to Felix this has been the most painful defeat in his career as a goalkeeper.
“With due respect to San Pedro but I don’t think this is a team that should stop us from qualifying to the group stage. This is the most painful defeat I have ever had in my Kotoko career. I do not know how to explain it."
"Our attitude and mental toughness were not there because it is painful how we lost. We cannot be committing these sorts of mistakes at this stage.”
The management of the club now has a tough decision to make as majority of the club's faithful on social media are calling for the head of coach Kjetil Zachariassen.
