Santos Leave for Ghana

South African Premier Soccer League champions, Santos, Thursday left for Ghana where they will play their African Cup Winners Cup second round, second leg, against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The first leg ended in a 3-3 draw in Cape Town.

Santos coach Gordon Igesund said his charges were going into a lion's den.

"They are a big club and well-respected in Africa and have amazing experience in these competitions and winning the game is going to be a tough job because the draw is not good for us."

"But we've proved that scoring against them is possible so we also have a chance though they are favourites."
