An early own goal was not the best start for Ghana's U-20 side as they lost 3-0 to their Italian counterparts in a friendly today in Viterbo.
Thomas Boakye's attempt to deal with loose ball in the Ghanaian box rather ended at the back of the net after goalkeeper John Moosie had spilled a cross.
Guissepe De Luca got the second for Luigi Di Biagio's U-20 team before Manuel Fischnaller took advantage of a deflected ball that fell into his way to score from close range.
Ghana will now turn their attentions on their final friendly against Serie B side, Parma FC on Saturday, November 12 to round up their time in Italy.
