Satellites to resume camping in Accra

Accra, Sept. 23, GNA - The National Under-21 team, the Black Satellites will on September 25, resume camping at the Apaade Hotel in Accra to prepare for their crucial qualifier of the 14th Africa Youth Championship scheduled for Benin next year.

The Satellites who broke camp two weeks ago after beating Benin 2-0 in an international friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium are scheduled to take on Cote d' Ivoire in the first leg of the qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, October 1.

Coach Francis Oti Akneten, Technical Director of the team in a release copied to the GNA Sports has therefore invited 22 players for the camping programme following a temporary break in the National Premier League.

The players invited include Patrick Antwi, Bawa Mumuni, Felix Baffoe and Micheal Helegbe from Liberty Professionals with Emmanuel Anerfi, Iddi Yekeni and Michael Akuffo coming from the camp of Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy.

Floyd Kotey, Alex Agorbia and Jarrah Teiko are from the camp of FC Mitdjyland with Accra Hearts Oak supplying Prince Tagoe and Joseph Ababio.

Other invited players are Prince Antwi and Iddi Yahaya of Kumasi King Faisal; Eric Owusu and Anthony Annan from Sekondi Hassacas and Samuel Yeboah and Dramani Aminu from th camp of Kpando Heart of Lions. The rest of the invited players are Kwaku Essien of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Gado Mohamed of Accra Great Olympics, Alhaji Musah of Aduana Stars and Douglas Nkrumah from the camp of Power FC.
