Reports in Germany claim Schalke 04 are keen to sign Marseille striker Jordan Ayew after the World Cup.
The 22-year-old is currently with the Ghana side in Brazil and will hope to be part of the side that takes on Portugal on Thursday in a must-win clash for the Africans.
Ayew, who was on loan at Sochaux last season, is currently at the World Cup with Ghana, and thus a move is unlikely to be completed in the immediate future.
Ayew has been with Marseille since 2009 but spent the second half of last season on-loan at Sochaux.
He has been linked with an exit from the Stade Velodrome and it has been suggested that his representatives have already opened talks with Schalke over a possible move later this summer.
Ligue 1 duo St-Etienne and Lille are also interested in the player and so he should have plenty of options after returning from Brazil.
