Ghana and TP Mazembe influential midfielder Solomon Asante has credited French head Coach Patrice Carteron for engineering his side’s CAF Champions League semi-final berth.
The Raven put up a five star performance to burst open their Moroccan opponents Moghreb Tetouan by 5-0 in Lubumbashi.
Asante who was at the heart of everything Mazembe did says credit should go to head coach Patrice Carteron for mapping out a plan for the team’s success.
“I think that the entire team did extremely well and I guess we owed our fans this kind of performance,” Asante said after the game
“A lot of credit has to go to the Coach he mapped out a plan which worked to perfection.”
“We are aware that nothing has been won yet but we are gaining confidence every passing game.”
With Smouha and Al Hilal playing out a 1-1 drawn game in the other fixture the Congolese side topped Group A with 11 points.
