Sporting public urged to patronise deaf match on Sunday

Accra, Sept. 9, GNA - The organisers of the Deaflympic national football team, the Black Wonders has made an urgent appeal to the football loving public to endeavour to come in their numbers to the Accra Sports stadium to cheer the team in its qualifying match against their South African counterparts on Sunday, September 12.

The gates would be opened at 9.00 am and it has been declared free to enable as many people as possible to lend their support to the national deaf team. To come out victorious

The Black Wonders are meeting their South African counterparts in the second leg match qualifier for the Deaflympic football tournament scheduled for Australia in 2005.

The first leg match played in Johannesburg, South Africa ended 2-1 in favour of the home team and it is the desire of the Ghanaian team to revenge and beat their opponents by a wide margin to ensure their qualification.
