The Public Relations Officer of the Youth and Sports Ministry, Elvis Agyei Baah, has exclusively told FootballMadeInGhana.com that, his outfit will soon hand over the keys to official the residence of Black Stars coach, Kwasi Appiah to him.
According to Agyei Baah, renovation works have been completed along with the furnishing of the house. ”As I’m talking to you, Kwesi Appiah’s house [is ready], very soon we shall be doing an official handing over. All that we are expected to [do] to [furnish] the rooms have been done.
”The keys to the house have been handed over to the Ministry. I can tell you all is set. We are looking forward to the official handing over to the coach” he added.
The Youth and Sports Ministry has in the past been renting hotels for Black Stars coaches amidst criticisms by the Ghanaian public. Millions of dollars have as result been spent in that regard.
The recent decision by the Youth and Sports Ministry to secure a permanent residence for whoever is the coach of the team has since been welcomed by many football fans.
