The beauty of the game was nearly marred by card happy referee Alhassan Brobbey from Mampong whose numerous debatable calls infuriated players from both sides as he flashed a total of eight yellow cards.
The second half, saw a completely different Olympics side, who adopted a more offensive approach and were rewarded in the 48th minute when Odartey Lawson handled the ball in box. Frank Adjei beautifully converted the spot kick to draw level.
Hearts went straight into action after the equalizer and came close again to taking the lead in the 54th minute when Taylor's fierce shot from 40 meter was tipped over the cross bar by Addo.
In the 75th minute Taylor again found his way into the box but instead of cutting the ball back for the striker to finish off, he decided to go for glory and shot into the hands of the Olympics goalkeeper.
There was a near disaster for Hearts in the 77th minute when a misunderstanding between Eben Dida and Odartey Lawson nearly resulted in a goal as the latter's header back pass to his keeper missed the post narrowly with Dida off his line.
Hearts nearly had the last laugh in the 89th when Ishmael Addo drove a low shot near the far post but goalkeeper Addo was equal to the task to end Olympics six match losing streak.
