Starke F/C reap goal harvest

Dunkwa-On-Offin, (C/R) June 16, GNA - Dunkwa-On-Offin Starke FC reaped a goal harvest when they whipped Great Assin North United 4-1 in their Second Division League match played at Dunkwa-On-Offin. Playing one of their best matches of the season, Starke FC outplayed their opponents and led 2-1 at half time.

Midfielder Alhassan Emali who played a yeoman's game, scored two more goals in the second half to bring the full time score to 4-1 in favour of Starke FC.

Results of other league matches were, Adisadel Great Astronomers trounced Ankaful Liberty Rainbow 4-0, Jukwa Surowi United drew 1-1 with Oguaa United and Abreshia Nsemka F/C lost 0-1 to Abreshia United. Efutu Citrus Professionals drew 1-1 with Nadel Rovers, Denkyira United pipped Real Republicans 1-0 while Assin Kushea Owirenkyeman F/C drew 1-1 with Assin United Stars.

Assin Manso Santos F/C punished Adansi Praso WAECO F/C with a 2-0 win, Saltpond Mighty Victory drew goalless with Amosima Kingdom Stars and Odonase Schalke O4 trounced Edumfa Galaxy F/C 3-0. Gomoa Mampong Hi-Kings F/C also thrashed Senya Bereku UBRC 4-0, Akotsi Jenaak Professionals trounced Ofaakor Shepherd Stars 4-0 while Nyanyano Proud United punished Buduburam Children Better Ways with a 5-0 victory. 16 June 08
